Brigette McHale (née Pheloung) doesn’t slow down—at least not for long. She has millions of followers, with her biggest audience on TikTok, where she’s known as @acquiredstyle, and her beauty, fashion and lifestyle content—from GRWMs to ’70s-inspired hair tutorials—keeps them coming back. She’s also the cofounder of Phe Phe, the lifestyle and clothing brand she launched with her identical twin, Danielle, in 2025.
Most recently, her Rhode Island wedding went viral from the lead-up to the big day, featuring a custom Vera Wang wedding dress covered in oversized fabric roses, a St. Barths bachelorette trip complete with a decked-out private jet and a milky pink-nude manicure by celebrity manicurist Julie Kandalec.
Now that the confetti has settled, fans are just as curious about what’s next, including a new partnership with Little Leaf Farms, the greenhouse-grown lettuce brand you’ve likely spotted in the produce aisle. In honor of the partnership, McHale sat down with NewBeauty to chat all things wedding, wellness and what’s ahead.
Why did this partnership with Little Leaf Farms feel like a natural fit in this chapter of your life?
“Cooking attainable, healthy, fun meals and wellness have always been part of my content, in addition to what people primarily know me for, which is fashion and beauty.” [Editor’s note: Her TikTok recipes range from Greek salad and poke bowls with kani salad to chicken fajitas and the three-ingredient salmon her grandma used to make.]
What are your go-to healthy recipes heading into fall?
“Not only is it soup season, but I love a fall salad. Adding vegetables and protein to a salad with my Little Leaf Farms lettuce is honestly a go-to for me. I make salads all year round.”
How do you make a salad feel cozy, like soup? Is there one kind you crave this time of year?
“If you add lentils, chickpeas, butternut squash or sweet potato, it gives that fall, cozy vibe to your salad that you may be missing. I crave a salad with beans, veggies, things like that.”
What did your wellness routine look like in the months leading up to your wedding? Did any habits make a big difference in how you felt day to day?
“Getting my steps in, eating healthy, working out every day. I live a pretty routine life, and wellness is such a big part of it, so I basically continued the way my life normally was but got some extra steps. I probably ate out a little less and made more dinners and salads at home. And prioritizing sleep was key.”
What does your sleep routine look like? Are you an eight-to-10-hour girl?
“It depends on the day because my schedule is always changing. I always set an alarm for 6:30 or 7:30, depending on my morning workout class, and I try to go to bed before 11 if I don’t have events the night before.”
Were there any wedding-week skin and makeup non-negotiables?
“It was big for me to look and feel like myself. When picking the makeup and the artist I was going to work with, I wanted to look like myself, but a little elevated.”
How are you easing back into a routine after all the fun? What does a reset look like for you right now?
“I’m really good at bouncing back into a routine pretty quickly. The second I got back from my honeymoon, I was ready to get back to normal life. I just continue what I was doing before: starting my days with a workout and eating clean. Those are the things I need to do, no matter what’s going on in my life, to be my best, most successful self. It definitely felt good, especially after seven days on my honeymoon. I was like, ‘I need to eat healthy!’ I feel like myself once I’m back in my groove.”
With such a busy and public life, what do you do to protect your mental health and stay grounded, especially during high-pressure moments?
“Knowing the balance of what you can share and what you keep private is key. I have a really good relationship with my community and the internet on what to share and what not to, and I keep some things to myself. I truly have a passion for this job and sharing my life, so I’ve always been mindful of that balance.”
